The 2007 Fall Rocky Mountain WICT Mentoring Program

Participate in an extraordinary personal development program.

Rocky Mountain WICT announces the Fall 2007 Mentoring Program. Beginning in October, this 6-month program matches WICT members with leaders in our industry who offer their insight and inspiration through an ongoing mentoring and coaching relationship. This journey in self-discovery and growth offers an unparalleled opportunity to build greater confidence and personal effectiveness in a safe and supported environment. Our program partner, Mines and Associates, will be presenting the Development FIRST workshop that has been such an integral part of our past mentoring programs. Mentees will self-select and be matched to mentors on a first-come, first-served basis.

Key Events & Dates:

  • Friday, October 12th, 2007
    8am – 5pm: Mentoring Kickoff Training for all mentoring program participants (location at Level3 Communications in Broomfield) MANDATORY

    This kickoff training program is provided for both mentors and mentees. Participation in this session is mandatory. At this meeting mentors and mentees will have a chance to meet and begin developing their mentoring goals and expectations. In addition, each mentor/mentee group collectively will determine the schedule of its group meetings and which topics will be discussed at those discussions. A session will be facilitated on development goals from the Development FIRST program. Workshop sponsored by Mines & Associates.

  • Thursday, January 17th, 2007
    8am – 11am: Mid-Point Checkpoint for mentoring program Participants (location TBD) MANDATORY
  • Thursday, April 17th, 2007
    11:30am – 1pm: Program Conclusion, Celebration Luncheon for mentoring program participants (location TBD)

In addition, two Roundtables will be scheduled. Roundtables are designed to provide an intimate setting to discuss development issues.

The cost is $375 fee for WICT members ($450 for non-members) which includes the Development FIRST workshop and accompanying study materials, coaching information, roundtable breakfasts, and celebration luncheon.

Whatever your position or goals, you are guaranteed to find a mentor who can offer sound advice and guidance.
