August 2009 Event Summary: Corporate Strategies for Tough Times

The Customer is King, especially in this market.  Dr. Charles Patti, reviewed the importance of customer care and strategies for maintaining and growing customer relationships.  Jeff Kear shared effective ways to remain out front in this tough economy using marketing techniques we all know.

 

Professor Patti, the James M. Cox Chair in Customer Experience Management at the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, recently joined the Daniels College of Business after spending nine years as Head of the School of Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.  Professor Patti is the 2007 recipient of the Marketing Educator of the Year Award, sponsored by the Marketing Educators' Association.

 

Jeff Kear is Principal and Director of Intelligence/Insight at Kear Stevens.  Jeff leads all research, branding, positioning and messaging efforts for Kear Stevens, a branding agency based in Denver.  Jeff's abilities as a creative communicator and writer have helped dozens of organizations develop meaningful, productive dialogues with their target audiences.
