 In the first six months of 2009, we have experienced immense efforts to repair our economic system following the unprecedented events in the last months of 2008. The economy remains fragile. Yet, robust fiscal and monetary policies have helped lead the way to an improved economic backdrop. While the market will likely continue to see volatility in the second half of 2009, an overall upward-trending market is expected.
