WICT Rocky Mountain Mentoring Program Participants and Alumni are invited to Essential Conversations:  The Fine Art of Advanced Communication.

 

Managing up involves being aware of key guidelines for professional conduct and communication. The end objective is to have a satisfactory and successful relationship with your direct supervisor. The end reward includes a successful performance appraisal, being trusted with important projects, and the satisfaction of knowing your efforts are appreciated. In this round-table, Dr. Rick Ginsberg, will share some tools and techniques that show you how to:

- Prepare for high impact conversations
- Be persuasive, not abrasive
- Make it safe to talk about almost anything
- Have tough conversations with less stress and more success
- Speak with authority and empathy
